President of the republic of Malawi Bingu wa Mutharika says he will deploy soldiers at the gates of the country’s parliament to stop members of parliament from entering the building.
Mutharika said he will do so this coming Friday but opposition political parties and civil society organizations in the country have condemned his statement saying the president should remember that Malawi embraced democracy in 1990’s.
This follows political misunderstand between him and opposition political parties on the implementation of section 65 and budget.
Commentators have been blanding Mutharika as a home made dictator.
Meanwhile it is not known yet known if the budget session currently taking place in Lilongwe will bear fruits.
Malawi as a country is running without a national budget due to political misunderstands.
